Home Script Regular Doormat PVC Backed
$34.95
Make every arrival feel a little more welcoming with the Home Script Regular Doormat. The word ‘home’ flows across the natural coir surface in expressive black handwriting, giving this practical entrance mat a warm and personal character. Its simple typography and earthy texture create a relaxed look that feels equally at home beside a modern doorway, country verandah or casual family entrance.
Measuring 80 cm long and 50 cm wide, this regular-sized doormat provides generous coverage without taking over the doorway. Its low profile of approximately 1.5–2 cm makes it a useful choice where a thicker mat may interfere with door clearance. The natural coir fibres help scrape dirt from shoes, while the PVC backing supports the mat and helps it retain its shape. Pair the neutral brown surface and black script with dark door hardware, warm wood, potted greenery or monochrome entrance accessories.
The combination of a natural coir face and practical backing makes this mat well suited to the everyday demands of a busy entrance. Position it in a sheltered area and protect it from excessive moisture to preserve the fibres and printed design. Because coir is a natural material, some loose fibre shedding and small variations in texture or colour are expected. Shake or brush the surface regularly to remove collected dirt, and lift the PVC-backed mat carefully rather than pulling it by the edges. With its welcoming message and unfussy palette, it adds personality to the doorway while remaining easy to coordinate with changing seasonal decor.

About Coir
Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.
Coir Doormat Care
- Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
- If the mat becomes wet, dry promptly and thoroughly.
- Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
- Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
